DMC „Mouliné Coloris“ is a four-coloured embroidery floss with a gorgeous sheen and silky soft texture. Coloris is not simply a gradient embroidery floss; in fact, the shades follow a particular colour palette and each of the four colours changes every 5 centimetres.
Embroidery floss is an exceptionally versatile embroidery thread, since the thickness of the thread can be modified to the desired weight. The six strands are easily separated. It is suggested to use
- 1 strand for really fine, detailed embroidery projects or for creating edges for colour areas
- 2–3 strands two or three strands for slightly coarse embroidery
- 4–6 strands for more coarse embroidery.
Suitable for all sorts of embroidery and every embroidery fabric – ideal also for cross stitch.
This embroidery floss has excellent colour fastness, is very wash-resistant (washable up to 60ᵒC) and is certified according to the OEKO‑TEX® Standard 100. DMC Coloris is made from 100% mercerised cotton, holds 8 metres of thread per strand and is available in an extensive range of multicolour shades. Supplied per 6 pieces of 8 metres each.
